Built upon my custom interaction system, I implemented grab-and-place functionalities that allow players to pick up key objects and place them onto corresponding components to trigger their functions — such as activating puzzles or opening doors.
When the player places the fuse into the power box, the green indicator light turns on, signaling that the system is functional. Interacting again opens the power box puzzle interface.
To enhance readability in the dark warehouse environment, I added supplemental lighting that activates only during the puzzle and turns off once the player exits.
I also applied highlight materials to the puzzle’s switches to guide player attention toward interactive elements.
Additionally, I designed a needle feedback system — when the voltage becomes negative, the gauge reacts accordingly, and the needle dynamically responds to switch movements, creating a more immersive and tactile interaction experience.
